He is currently working on a project to create a statue of St. Piran, the Patron Saint of Cornwall
and has been commissioned to create a monument to the Cornish Tin Miners which is to be sited
in St. Just.

Peter Walker is a public sculptor. He currently has a number of significant commissions on his books around the UK. These include monuments to both Cornish and Staffordshire Mining Areas, and a project relating to the life and work of Dr. Samuel Johnson. His major works to date include a monument to Sir Izaac Walton, author of "The Compleat Angler". Peter is an associate member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors.

Bronze Resin is a modern addition to the materials employed by sculptors to reproduce their work. It is increasingly used
in order to make available edition sculptures which are both affordable and yet virtually indistinguishable from foundry cast bronze.
The process involves the application of finely sintered real bronze into a mould shell which has been produced from the original sculpt
, this is then supported with a strengthened resin. The sculpture is patinated and the finish is permanent.
